Facial Laser

Facial laser (or phototherapy) uses a process that modifies cell activity using a light source without thermal effect.

The use of laser is able to improve the appearance of aged skin, acne and pigmentary changes such as blemishes.

The type of energy used can be emitted through light emitting diodes (LED) and laser diode.

They do not present a risk of genetic alteration and do not cause any damage to the skin.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in pregnant women or mothers who are breastfeeding, people who have had skin cancer in the region, have glaucoma or cataracts. People who use photosensitizing and anticoagulant drugs and with healing problems are also not indicated for treatment.

 

After treatment

It is important to avoid sun exposure for 15 days after treatment. It is recommended a diet rich in proteins that help to stimulate collagen formation, hydrate yourself with prescribed products. As the skin will be more sensitive, applying sunscreen with high UVA and UVB protection in the treated areas is essential.
